Here are the questions that we have received from our customers.
FAQ about reservations
- Please tell me how to make a reservation.

See here for the reservation site.
- This store requires a reservation. Please make a reservation on the reservation site by 8:00 AM on the day of the desired reservation.
- We accept reservations at 6:00 PM, 31 days before your desired reservation date.
- If you want to make reservations for multiple dates, please make sure to have another email address since you cannot make multiple reservations with the same email address.
- The authentication code required to authenticate the email address will be sent from the "@mail-pokemon-cafe.jp" address. Please make sure to check your settings so that you will be able to receive an email from the "@mail-pokemon-cafe.jp" address.
- We will offer seats at the store only if there are last-minute cancellations.
- After completing a reservation, we do not accept changes to the number of people.
- You can check the reservation status from the “Confirm Your Reservation” that is on the bottom of the website for each store at the reservation site. *Please enter the reservation number using only half-width alphanumeric letters.
- Please tell me about the seating at the store.

- For any groups of 7 or more persons, please make separate reservations for groups of 2 or more persons. In this case, please make sure to have another email address since you cannot make multiple reservations with the same email address.
- If 2 groups or more want to sit next to each other, make reservations using the same name, time and seating type, and contact the Pokémon Cafe store in advance. We will try to make the seats as close as possible, but depending on the situation please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request.
- Seats cannot be specified.
- When making a reservation, please include children (including preschoolers) in the number of people.
- What is the difference between the seat types (A, B, C, D).

- A, B and C type seats for the store in Nihombashi, Tokyo, are table seats and can accommodate reservations for 2 to 6 persons. D type seats are counter seats and can accommodate reservations for 1 to 2 persons.
- A and B type seats for the store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, are table seats and can accommodate reservations for 2 to 6 persons. C type seats are counter and table seats and can accommodate reservations for 1 to 6 persons.
- On which devices can I use the reservation system?

- What should I do if I entered the wrong email address at the input screen?

If you entered the wrong email address, press "Back to Previous Page" to go back to the input screen for customer information.
Once you have returned, please re-enter the correct email address.
- What should I do if I had deleted the email with the Authentication code?

Please press "Resend authentication code" to re-send a new one.
- What should I do if the email with the Authentication code does not arrive?

Please check if the correct email address has been entered.
In addition, the email may not arrive if you had set up for domain designated reception or to reject certain emails.
Please make sure your settings will allow you to receive an email from the "@mail-pokemon-cafe.jp" address.
- What should I do if I haven’t received my reservation completion email?

Any one of the following may have happened.
- You have not completed the reservation
If you haven’t received a reservation completion email, it might be possible that your reservation has not been completed. - You registered the reservation using the wrong email address.
You will not be able to confirm if the email address was incorrect. - Due to a server issue, it may some time for the email to arrive.
Due to heavy traffic and congestion of the internet and/or server, the email may take some time before it arrives. Please check to see if the email has arrived after a while. - Restrictions on your inbox to prevent SPAM mail, or you have setup your inbox to reject emails.
Please make sure to accept emails from “@mail-pokemon-cafe.jp” before your make a reservation. In addition, please make sure the email has not been sent to the SPAM folder.
- You have not completed the reservation
- Please tell me about canceling a reservation.

- Reservations can be canceled by 10:00 PM the day before the reservation. Please click on the URL for canceling reservations on the reservation completion email, or go to the “Confirm Your Reservation” page from the reservation site Please contact the Pokémon Cafe store by phone for last-minute cancellations.
- Once you cancel your reservation, the goods you purchased together with the reservations will also be canceled. Please contact your credit card company since the settlement status will vary per the credit card company used by the customer.
- Please tell me about the special goods I can purchase when making a reservation.

- When you proceed with your reservation, you will be able to select the goods.
- Purchase of the special goods that you can purchase when making a reservation is limited to 3 items for each customer.
- Depending on the timing of the reservation, you may not be able to purchase certain goods. Please be aware in advance.
- Purchases can only be done through credit card settlement.
We accept the following credit cards: VISA / Mastercard / JCB / American Express / Diners Club / Discover.
Certain debit cards and prepaid cards are not accepted. - After completing the reservation, additional purchases, changes, and cancellations for special goods are not allowed.
- Please come and receive your special goods that you have reserved on the day of your reservation.
- Tell me about any precautions for the day of my reservation.

- Please come to the front of the store by 10 minutes before the time you reserved.
- If after 10 minutes have passed since the start of your reservation and we are not notified, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
- Once you canceled, the goods you purchased when you made a reservation will also be canceled.
- Your stay is 90 minutes from the time of your reservation. Last call for orders is 30 minutes before the end of your stay.
- We do not accept extensions on your stay even if you arrive later than the time of the reservation. Please be aware in advance.
- Please directly call the Pokémon Cafe store for any notifications regarding same-day reservations.

- Do you have chairs for infants?

FAQ about the menu
- I have food allergies, can you accommodate them?

Please note that in order for our guests to safely enjoy their meals, we cannot accommodate changes to the menu contents, removing certain allergen ingredients, etc.
- Can I bring baby food?

Yes, but due to sanitation concerns, please only bring pre-packaged baby food that has not been opened.
When bringing baby food, please notify our staff when entering the store.
- Please tell me how the menu orders work.

We request all guests aged 6 and older to order at least 1 item per person.
- Can I take the food home?

We request that you not take home the food.
- Do you have menus in another language besides Japanese?

We offer menus in English, simplified Chinese, and Korean.
- Please tell me about the menu items with souvenirs.

- These are the menu items that come with Pokémon Cafe original goods. As such, these souvenirs cannot be purchased individually.
- Changing to another menu order, changing a drink to be either hot or iced, changing to another type of souvenir, and/or additional orders after the last call for orders are not allowed.
FAQ about goods
- I want to purchase the goods but I do not have a seat reservation. Can I only purchase the goods?

You can visit the store only to purchase the goods. Quantities are limited so your understanding will be appreciated if we are out of stock.
- Is there a limit to how many goods I can purchase?

Purchase of the goods is limited to 3 items per 1 product. However, we may limit the number of items an individual can purchase in order to have as many of our guests as possible have the opportunity to obtain the goods.
